Pursuant to Standing Order No. 20-10, effective Monday, March 30, 2020, temporarily, the Bankruptcy Court Clerk’s Office public areas are closed at each courthouse location. Unrepresented persons may use the Bankruptcy drop box located at the Alexandria, Norfolk, and Richmond divisions’ courthouses to deposit documents for filing and properly submitted payments. Clerk’s Office staff will retrieve documents from the drop boxes at 9:00 a.m., each business day. Standing Order 20-9, also effective Monday, March 30, 2020, establishes a temporary protocol for filings in Bankruptcy cases by unrepresented (pro se) persons.

All hearings scheduled before the Honorable Frank J. Santoro, Chief Judge on Tuesday, August 4, 2020 in the U. S. Bankruptcy Court, Norfolk Division have been rescheduled to August 11, 2020 at the same time as originally scheduled.
