Pursuant to Orders of the Chief Judge of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia, the United States Courts in this District will be closed on the following dates, in addition to federal holidays already established by law:

Friday, July 5, 2024, and Friday, November 29, 2024.

As a result, the United States Courts for the Eastern District of Virginia will be closed on Thursday, July 4, 2024, in observance of the established Independence Day holiday, as well as Friday, July 5, 2024.  Additionally, the United States Courts for the Eastern District of Virginia will be closed on Thursday, November 28, 2024, in observance of the established Thanksgiving holiday, as well as Friday, November 29, 2024.
