Please be advised, the scheduling procedure below applies to hearings scheduled to be held in January 2026 and thereafter before Judge Santoro in the Norfolk Division only.   Judge Santoro will hold one docket every two weeks.  All routine matters will be set on these dockets, regardless of chapter.  The scheduling of evidentiary matters remains unchanged. 

The time changes below will be reflected on Judge Santoro’s Norfolk Hearing dates page. 

CHAPTER 13 MATTERS - 10:30 a.m.

CHAPTER 13 MODIFIED PLAN CONFIRMATION HEARINGS * 
For modified plans in cases where the trustee is Greg Stefan - 10:35 a.m. **
For modified plans in cases where the trustee is Kelly M. Barnhart - 10:45 a.m. **

CHAPTER 7, CHAPTER 11, AND ADVERSARY MATTERS - 11:00 a.m.

* The Bankruptcy Court may confirm a plan without further notice if no objection to confirmation is filed. See Bankruptcy Rule 3015.

** When there is a need to associate more than one Section 341 meeting date with the same Chapter 13 confirmation hearing date to comply with the statutory scheduling period, then the additional confirmation hearings where Mr. Stefan is the Chapter 13 Trustee will be scheduled for 10:40 a.m. and the additional confirmation hearings where Ms. Barnhart is the Chapter 13 Trustee will be scheduled for 10:50 a.m. for cases assigned to Judge Santoro in the Norfolk Division.
