We are pleased to announce Gregory H. Counts has been selected to serve as Chief Deputy Clerk, effective February 24, 2025. Mr. Counts brings extensive experience and institutional knowledge having served the U.S. Bankruptcy Court, Eastern District of Virginia as the Alexandria Division Manager, to his current role as Chief Deputy for Operations. Mr. Counts earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Virginia and a Juris Doctor degree from William and Mary Law School.
