Procedures for Hearings before Hon. Frank J. Santoro, Hon. Brian F. Kenney, and Hon. Klinette H. Kindred - Richmond

All Richmond Hearings for cases assigned to Chief Judge Kenney, Judge Kindred, and Judge Santoro scheduled on or before January 10, 2025, shall be scheduled before Judge Huennekens.

***For hearings after January 15, 2025, please be advised that any request for the continuance of a hearing to be conducted by a Visiting Judge must be made by written motion in accordance Local Bankruptcy Rule 9013-1(J), or requested for good cause at the scheduled hearing.***

No other matters or requests will be considered by Chambers staff and under no circumstances will any such matters or requests be brought to the Judge’s attention. Failure to comply with these instructions may result in appropriate action, including but not limited to the imposition of sanctions.

The request form attached to the Personal Electronics Device Policy, and linked here as a PDF-fillable request form, should be completed, as indicated on the request form. Once completed, the request form should be attached to an e-mail as a PDF file, and transmitted, via e-mail, by the requesting attorney, to the appropriate bankruptcy judge’s chambers, as follows:
